2010 Retreat Schedule

Artistic Creations
February 26, 27 & 28 (Thursday arrival optional)

Pack up your scrapbooks, rubber stamps, sewing machines, or other handiwork and join a friend for this crafty weekend. We’ll take care of all the details, so you just have to worry about finding the perfect sticker or coming up with just the right saying. Enjoy our delicious, home-cooked meals and worship the God that blessed you with your creative gifts. Do you have crafting supplies that need a new home? Bring them for the craft-related silent auction to be held throughout the weekend.

Earlybird option: For an extra $25, you may arrive Thursday evening (after 5PM) and enjoy a continental breakfast and a light lunch on Friday as well as plenty of crafting time before the other guests arrive on Friday afternoon.

$70 per person (bunk-style room)
$90 per person (semi-private room with bedding & towels provided)
*all participants will be assigned a bunk-style cabin unless specified on the registration form

 

Quilting Away
March 5, 6 & 7
Friday evening-Sunday afternoon (Thursday arrival optional)

Oil your sewing machines, sharpen your scissors, and get set for this great weekend of sewing, laughter, and fellowship. Savor delicious meals and be refreshed through devotions and worship. Don’t forget to bring a quilting or crafting-related item for our silent auction to be held throughout the weekend.

For an extra $25, you may arrive Thursday evening (October 22) and enjoy a continental breakfast and a light lunch on Friday as well as plenty of quilting time before the other guests arrive on Friday afternoon.

Ageless Iron
Saturday, April 17

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the good old days as antique tractors and engines roar to life. Coffee will be brewing as we gather in the shop for a day of tinkering and sharing stories of restoration. Local restorers will share their experiences. Bring your projects for a time of show and tell. Contact Ben Hamilton at the camp for more information.

4th-6th Grade Bash
Friday evening-Saturday afternoon
April 23 & 24

Are you experiencing camp withdrawl? Symptoms include longing for the scent of campfire, constantly having camp songs running through your head, and polishing your “dead cow” skills for next summer’s tournament. If so, the 4th-6th Grade Bash is for you! Get your camp fix during these 19 hours of hilarious games, crazy camp songs, awesome campfire worship, and time to talk about our amazing God. Arrive for supper on Friday and stay through closing worship after lunch on Saturday. Please register through your congregation. Congregations, contact the camp to reserve space for your youth. Don’t forget to pack your adult leaders (they come for free)!
